The original. He is primed here with some gray: I usually use white, but am not a "primer snob," so I doesn't really matter that much.


I give the dude a tan-ish base coat for the camo.


Next up are some big brown splotches--these cover about 50% of the fig




I then usually soften the edges of the brown and green with some thin tan. If this ends up covering too much, touch up the colors again.




On this particular figure, the pants came out better so far.


I gave this one a brown oil wash.


These three are from three different painting sessions, so the results are relatively consistent.


I didn't include paint colors for several reasons: I use paint mixes, adding drops until it "looks right." I also use paints from several different makers and series.
